With just a little more prep from around where the diaphragm was recently removed from the end of Southern Pacific Railroad 'commute' coach #2101, the team will start to move from our current bare steel stage into the paint stage on the car's vestibules and then south side. The materials have been ordered thanks to all of the generous donations to the exterior restoration of this car, and we hope to be sharing new paint and lettering taking place soon. Given we raised enough funds to cover this work, we have closed down the 2101's fundraiser. We have other car projects that would welcome a donation if you are so inclined. We will leave a link to our donations page in the comments.
