Join us on September 2nd, 2026, for an educational eco tour through the park adjacent to the Duwamish Longhouse from 11AM-12:30PM.

Learn about the history of colonization, industrialism, pollution and ecological changes of the last 200 years.

Other dates available are:
-September 16th
-October 7th
-October 14th

Sign up below. Space is limited to the first 20 people, and tours take place rain or shine. 🌦 Please dress for the weather and meet at the Longhouse. Free and open to all.

The Duwamish Tribe is proud to support the opening of the new permanent exhibit at the Log House Museum: Beyond Alki: Stories of West Seattle and the Duwamish Peninsula.

Located at 3003 61st Ave. SW, Seattle, WA 98116, the museum is open to the public:
* Thursdays & Fridays: Noon–4 p.m.
* Saturdays: 10 a.m.–4 p.m.

This afternoon the Duwamish Tribe Canoe Family will depart Alki Beach around 2:00pm and paddle to Blake Island and host camp for the night, and then continue to Puyallup on July 30 and, after a stop at Steilacoom, paddle toward Nisqually on July 31st to take part in the Medicine Creek Potlatch Journey.
