Not all galleries have walls. 🎨✨

Follow MOPOP's Youth Advisory Board as they take to the streets of Seattle ahead of the opening of Rebels + Icons: The Photography of Janette Beckman.

In the months leading up to the exhibition, YAB selected four local youth photographers .camera and Callum Martinson to have their work featured alongside the show. Each photographer then collaborated with local wheat-pasting artists and to create original "mashups" that were installed throughout the city.

The idea of the mashup is deeply connected to Janette Beckman's creative legacy. Working with artist Cey Adams , Beckman's iconic photographs were often layered with artwork from legendary New York City graffiti artists, creating bold new visual conversations between photography and street art.

Have you spotted one of these posters around Seattle? đź‘€

More than a collectible, baseball cards are tiny pieces of sports history. âšľ

For generations, fans have traded, collected, and preserved cards that capture iconic moments and legendary careers. A single card can tell a story about a player, a team, and a moment in time.

Now on view: a Ken Griffey Jr. Mother's Cookies baseball card from the Seattle Mariners Team Archive, celebrating one of the most iconic and celebrated players in Mariners history.

Stop by and see this artifact up close--because some pieces of pop culture history are worth more than just their stats.
