Meet the agents of the Situationally Unstable Mathematics Mitigation (S.U.M.M.) division. An obscure organization, they play a vitally important role in keeping the fabric of reality together. While no one knows when the organization was founded, it has been identifying and mitigating all “ArithmeRifts,” places where math is breaking down.

Why have they set up a temporary headquarters at PacSci? Why are they looking for “volunteer explorers”? Is Seattle in grave danger? Come to FRACTURE and join the cause to save the world!

PacSci is looking for local makers, artists, and vendors to join The Gift Lab!

The Gift Lab will transform PacSci into an after-hours makers marketplace featuring local makers with a science, technology, engineering, art, or STEAM connection. We’re looking for unique gifts and creative work that will inspire curiosity and make people think, wonder, and explore.

Whether you create scientific art, nature-inspired jewelry, handmade goods, weird and wonderful objects, or something that simply has a great connection to science, we’d love to hear from you.
