We are incredibly proud of her hard work, dedication, and commitment to growing both personally and professionally. She is such a valued part of the Heritage Center, and we are so excited to celebrate this amazing milestone with her.

This past weekend, the Heritage Center was absolutely transformed for a beautiful event, and we just had to share! ✨
From the thoughtful decorations to the overall atmosphere, everything came together so perfectly—it was a wonderful example of how the space can be customized to fit any vision.

We’ve made a few updates to our rental rates here at the Scottsboro-Jackson Heritage Center. These changes help us continue maintaining the property, improving our facilities, and providing the best possible experience for your events.

📌 Important Note:
If you have already booked your event and locked in your rate for this year, your original rate will be honored—no changes to your reservation.

All updated rates will apply only to new bookings moving forward.

Earlier this week, we were honored to host a tree planting memorial service in memory of Dr. Darryl Britt in celebration of Alabama Arbor Day.

The Scottsboro Tree Commission presented a beautiful Brandywine Red Maple in his honor — a tree that will grow strong and vibrant for generations to come, just as his impact on our community continues to do.

Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate Dr. Britt’s life and legacy with us. Your presence made the day especially meaningful.

Great news! The Walt Hammer Heritage Award amount has been increased this year and now offers a $3,000 scholarship to a Jackson County high school senior.
