Homeschool Days are back at The Tech Interactive!
These special Wednesday programs offer a flexible, engaging hands-on STEAM experience for homeschooling families.

Admission includes:
ā€¢All-day admission to The Techā€™s galleries
ā€¢Pop-up mini demonstrations throughout the museum
ā€¢Free lesson plans for continued learning at home
ā€¢Entry to our Drop-In Labs (first-come, first-served)

Date: Wednesday, September 9 | Time: 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Price: $30 per person

Educators are innovators, too.

During our annual Summer Institute for The Tech Academies Fellows, 19 educators and six teacher-coaches spent a week at The Tech Interactive building, testing, and refining hands-on STEM activities for their classrooms.

They explored Design Challenge Learning, Computational Thinking, and what happens when students are invited to solve real-world problems through making, testing, failing, and trying again.

One participant summed it up perfectly: ā€œHave fun at failing, itā€™s how we learn! Try, fail, test, and try again.ā€

Summer Institute is part of The Tech Academies Fellowship Program, our flagship educator professional development program that has supported more than 4,000 educators and 170,000 students since 2015.

Curiosity should not come with a financial barrier.

This year has been hard on many household budgets. Honestly, itā€™s been a hard year for us too. But we didnā€™t want that to be a reason to pull back from our community. If anything, itā€™s the reason to lean in.

This fall, weā€™re taking new steps to make The Tech Interactive more welcoming and easier to access, with help from a new friend.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us this past Sunday for our Members Farewell Event! We loved reading all the out-of-this-world postcards you wrote. The exhibit will be missed, but we canā€™t wait to share whatā€™s coming next!
