Brad Kahlhamer’s multidisciplinary practice explores what he calls the “third place”—a meeting point between opposing personal histories.

Across paintings, drawings, sculptures, performance, and film, Kahlhamer incorporates a deeply personal visual language that draws on his Native American heritage, adoptive German-American family, and adult life in immersed in New York's artistic culture.

We're pleased to present his work in 𝟮𝟱𝟬 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀, 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀, a new group exhibition opening September 15.

Join us for the 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 on Thursday, September 17, 5-8pm.

250 Years, Indigenous Futures looks beyond a single historical moment to foreground Indigenous presence, sovereignty, and creativity. Working across painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, and film, these eight artists bring distinct perspectives rooted in their own Tribal Nations and communities, histories, and contemporary practices.

This week’s featured print is from David Maisel’s latest series, 𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴, his latest chapter responding to the environmental disaster at Utah’s Great Salt Lake. Since Maisel first photographed the region nearly 40 years ago, the lake has diminished by nearly two-thirds. Spiraling captures this transformation from above, revealing both the landscape’s beauty and its fragility.

Ricardo Mazal shares insights into his newest series of paintings, 𝗕𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀.

's Hand with Shell (1971) is currently featured in the group exhibition Eye of the Beholder at Daum Museum Of Contemporary Art.

The exhibition brings together figurative and abstract works to explore different expressions of femininity, inviting visitors to consider how ideas of the feminine shape the way we experience and interpret art.
