Design Store and Gallery Rare Device is an artist-focused gift store and gallery in San Francisco.

Every object in the store has its own story, and has been chosen because it is either handmade, well-designed, useful, beautiful or all of the above. The gallery within the storefront hosts rotating art shows and community events, including book signings and workshops. Our mission is to bring artists to the forefront by finding and showcasing creative people & makers, and to foster community through art.

Last year in LA, we met Wilson and Zack and got a behind-the-scenes look at American Waste Enterprise.

They walked us through their facility, sharing their vision of transforming post-consumer waste into something meaningful and lasting.

We left inspired, and honestly a little in awe. That moment stayed with us and this collaboration feels like a natural extension of that first meeting.
