Leave the kids at home and enjoy stimulating conversations about cutting-edge science, indulge in cocktails and let your curiosity run wild exploring our interactive exhibits. Science is in your everyday life; make it a part of your social life. Two Scientists Walk Into a Bar takes place at 25 different bars simultaneously across San Diego County. After work, walk into a bar and meet local scientists and researchers from all types of fields. Ask questions about intriguing topics or inquire about literally anything; no topic is off-limits. Suds & Science is your monthly chance to connect with other curious scientific minds over a beer—or two—and take part in an in-depth discussion about important scientific topics. The Fleet partners with local bars and scientists to bring you an evening with a fun-yet-informative presentation, which kicks off an extended discussion
between the scientist and the audience­­–all while the audience drinks along.
