Dear friends, thank you for the kind invitation to be part of the Musica Vitale 2026-27 concert season. It is truly an honor to perform in this beautiful series.
For my recital on October 18th, I have put together a program that I hold very close to my heart — a virtuosic selection of works written by composer-violinists who shaped the technical and artistic development of violin playing:
· J. S. Bach — Preludio from Partita No. 3
· E. Ysaÿe — Sonata No. 2 “Obsession”
· H. Wieniawski — Variations on an Original Theme, Op. 15
· N. Paganini — Moses Fantasy
Each of these composers was also a violinist — and that connection between composing and playing is something you can hear in every note they wrote.
