San Diego Potters' Guild

The San Diego Potters Guild is a juried membership of local potters that display and sell their work in Spanish Village studio 29 at Balboa Park.

The guild strives to stimulate public interest in ceramic arts and foster the common interests of all members. The Guild is closed Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Day.

Our Fall Patio Show is less than two weeks away and we are very busy getting our pots fired and ready for you. With 35 potters and over 3000 pots to choose from it’s a great opportunity for holiday shopping, especially for those who appreciate unique, handcrafted pottery.

This twice a year event is free to attend in Balboa Park, the home of Spanish Village Art Center.

It’s a proven fact that coffee and tea taste better when served in a handmade mug. This could be due to the unique textures, shapes, and personal touches that handmade mugs often have. They add to the drinking ritual.

When you visit our studio look at the craftsmanship and individuality of each piece made by one of our potters. Every size, shape, handle and color are completing different. We are sure you will enjoy searching for your favorite one.
