PENNY LANE, Beatles Museum is the brainchild of a long time Dunedin resident and humanitarian who considers the time is right to share his eclectic collection of Beatles memorabilia covering several decades dating back to 1961...from Yellow Submarine paraphernalia to Beatles puppets and pins. This exhibit of Beatles memorabilia is curated by Colin Bissett who grew up in Liverpool, England, where

the Beatles started, and who enjoyed seeing performances at the Cavern Club and the Casbah Coffee Club in the early sixties before they became a world-wide phenomenon.

60 YEARS OF REVOLVER! 🎶🌀 On this day in 1966, The Beatles released the album that changed recorded music forever: Revolver.

From the biting opening riff of "Taxman" to the haunting strings of "Eleanor Rigby" and the mind-bending tape loops of "Tomorrow Never Knows," this was the moment the Fab Four traded touring for the studio—turning Abbey Road into an instrument in its own right. 🎸✨
Behind Klaus Voormann’s iconic black-and-white collage cover was a band fearless enough to blend sitars, backward guitar solos, and brass sections into pure pop perfection.

For nine years, this museum has been waiting in Dunedin for St. Pete to find it. That wait is almost over.
Penny Lane Beatles Museum opens in its new downtown St. Pete home in mid-August. If you've been meaning to visit and never made the drive, now you have no reason to wait.
