Join us June 12th at the Forgotten Warriors Vietnam Museum all day to honor all women veterans.

🇺🇸 DID YOU KNOW?

National Women Veterans Recognition Day is not a separate Veterans Day for women.

Instead, June 12 commemorates a historic milestone in our nation’s military history.

On June 12, 1948, President Harry S. Truman signed the Women’s Armed Services Integration Act, granting women the right to serve as permanent members of the United States Armed Forces.

Before this law, women served honorably during times of war and national need, but were generally expected to leave military service when the conflict ended.

Women have been serving our nation since the Revolutionary War, yet many Americans are unaware of the significance of June 12. National Women Veterans Recognition Day recognizes the generations of women whose service, sacrifice, and perseverance helped shape our military and our country.

The Annual Run to Remember (Patrick Corcoran 5K Memorial Day Run) will be held on Sunday, May 24, 2026, in North Wildwood to benefit our veterans and those that have lost loved ones in service to their country.

All proceeds from this event will be donated to our veterans.

Registration fee is $30. Check-in begins at 7:30 a.m. and the race starts at 8:30 a.m.
