We were truly honored to welcome a special group of Vietnam Veterans who served together 1967-68
They stayed in touch all these years and visit our area only once a year.
A few of our Vietnam Veteran mentors and volunteers spent time with these heroes during their annual visit.

Not only does this organization do an amazing job remembering our veterans, they also help non profits like us with a kick back of every wreath donation!

The Forgotten Warriors Vietnam Museum is dedicated to honoring our Vietnam Veterans, but our mission of remembrance reaches across generations. Within the museum, we have dedicated a special area to honor our Korean War Veterans and ensure that the sacrifices of those who served in the “Forgotten War” are never forgotten.

We also recognize the connection between generations of service, including Veterans who served during World War II, Korea, and Vietnam—some answering the call in all three eras.

Please join us Nov 7, 2026 at 1pm for a special speaker presentation as we remember our Korean War Veterans with semi retired New Jersey official, Dennis M. Galvin Esq. Mr Gavin collaborated with Marie Oberwanowicz and Larry St. Laurent to create a self-published book “The Korean War Through the Eyes of Larry St. Laurent.” Mr. Galvin asked Larry questions about his service which were then recorded by a Court Stenographer and forwarded to the library of Congress. Larry was the Chairman of the Korean War Memorial that was constructed on the boardwalk in Atlantic City.

It was truly an honor and privilege to have Vietnam Veterans Billy Carlucci (Billy and the essentials), Jerry Tempesta and Bobby Reilly “Remember then” and Lou Costello, DJ, Cruisin92, Joe Griffies and Bill Davenport Welcome Home Veterans Radio WIBG 1020 AM WIBG 101.3 FM all under one roof on Saturday, entertaining our veterans and guests.

For a few wonderful hours, we stepped back in time as their voices, music and stories brought back the memories of years gone by. There was singing, dancing, laughter, conversations and plenty of smiles.

We are sincerely thankful for all they do for veterans and the museum — can’t wait till next year!

What a crazy, wonderful Saturday and one we’ll never forget! 2026 Nor’easter

A huge thank you to Billy Carlucci, Lou Costello, Jerry Tempesta and Bobby Reilly from the “Remember then” group, Joe Griffies and Bill Davenport Welcome Home Veterans Radio WIBG 1020 AM WIBG 101.3 FM, Cape May Co Veterans services Cape May County Government, Kathy Tweed and everyone who volunteered and braved the weather to attend. Our veteran entertainers were determined that the show would go on, no matter how many people showed up, so we pushed forward and did everything we could to support them and all of our veterans who came out to be part of the day especially the 6 veterans who received a Quilt of Valor by Kathy Tweed South Jersey Quilts of Valor
