Kelly and Will’s wedding day at the Lars Anderson House was straight out of a fairytale! Fitting for a couple whose relationship was blessed by “magic old ladies”

Their first date these two ended up by the wharf, seated next to these two older women who commented on how gorgeous Kelly was and how handsome Will was….they insisted that they go to La Vie at the wharf because it had the best rooftop view! These two “fairy god mothers” led them to the spot where they’d have their first kiss and the rest as they say, is history!

When you get an invitation suite this gorgeous you have to photograph it two ways! I personally love the patterned backdrop but also wanted to show off the individual design features without distraction because our gorgeous bride designed the entire suite herself! Earlier this Spring I got to explore downtown Frederick with these two cuties! We had so much fun at Baker Park and exploring the Visitation hotel where they’ll be getting ready before their wedding at Musket Ridge Golf Club this Fall!

A reminder to PRINT YOUR PHOTOS!!!

After visiting a friend who had a gallery wall with all their favorite travel photos, I made the comment that “I’m a terrible photographer” because I have very few printed photos in my own home 😅 so here’s a reminder to anyone who needs it to print the photos! And a note to myself that it’s always worth it to pack the ~fancy camera~ when traveling because my cellphone photos just don’t match the quality of the memories I’m making like my Canon does

Rare photos of an evening off with friends! Did I drive a total of 3.5 hours in traffic to Annapolis for this event? Sure did! Did I drive back to Richmond the same night? Sure did! Would most people say that’s crazy? Probably!

I’m always in awe of the magic florists can create within a bouquet!

When I was little, my mom let us pick our chores and I told her my job was going to be to pick flowers! And I did! From our backyard, from sidewalks and medians—anywhere I was allowed to cut them—and I’d deliver them wrapped in a wet paper towel to our neighbors

I never became an expert in arranging but I do very much enjoy photographing the floral talents of others

This wedding day was filled with so many sentimental moments! A first look with the father of the groom, Madeline’s grandma walked her down the aisle, and she had a special dance with the bride’s brother (just to name a few), can’t wait to share more!
