Raise a Liberty Pole and Celebrate America’s 250th Anniversary!

🇺🇸Join us at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 24, at the Readington Township Municipal Building, Route 523, Whitehouse Station, as we celebrate America’s 250th anniversary with a Liberty Pole raising ceremony!

📜Keep the history going! Following the ceremony, the historic Eversole-Hall House, located next to the Municipal Building, will be open for tours from noon to 2 p.m.

Come be part of this special celebration of our nation’s history!

Attention, LEGO builders! Here’s your chance to build a model of one of Readington Museums’ historic buildings or another iconic Hunterdon County site!

Form a team and join the for the HUNTERDON 250TH BUILDING BLOCKS WORKSHOP, a fast-paced, two-hour, hands-on model-building experience using more than 100,000 LEGO® building blocks to recreate local history!

Teams will use LEGO bricks to construct detailed models of historic and cultural landmarks throughout Hunterdon County. The completed models will then be placed on a 16-by-20-foot map of the county, creating an amazing LEGO representation of Hunterdon County’s history and heritage.

A fun experience for families and LEGO fans of all ages!

We commemorated the essence of independence with Anne and Ridley Enslow's 'Celebrate 250 Concert', a captivating performance of 18th-century melodies featuring the violin and hammered dulcimer, skillfully intertwined with historical narration, leaving a lasting impact on all in attendance. 🎶🎻🌟

Celebrate 250: Music of the American Revolution takes place on Sunday, October 4, 2026, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Bouman-Stickney Farmstead. Join Anne and Ridley Enslow for a lively concert of 18th-century songs about the struggle for American independence, featuring violin and hammered dulcimer, interwoven with engaging historical narration.
