The Louisiana Treasures Museum in Springfield contains centuries-old artifacts and items from lost towns Frenier, Napton, and Ruddock. Proprietor Wayne Norwood is dedicated to preserving the past so future generations will have a better understanding of how people lived, worked, and played in Louisiana. Wayne has items ranging from Indian Arrowheads to Dry Cleaning equipment to early 20th century
office equipment and everything in between. Two of the more unique items on the grounds are portable jails that were used to transport chain gangs from jail to work and back. It is an education in the lives of Louisiana residents. "Travel with Cajinville"
