🌟 Week Two Recap of TAAHM Summer STEAM Camp! 🌟

Our second week was packed with more exciting projects and hands-on learning! Campers had a blast creating robotic cars, water balloons, and even building hot air balloons. Stay tuned this week as we test our hot air balloons and start on our underwater remotely operated vehicles! 🌟🔋💻

Week 2 Highlights:
🚗 Campers built their own robotic cars, learning about mechanics, electronics, and coding.
🎈 Hot air balloons were constructed, introducing principles of buoyancy and thermodynamics.
🌉 Campers worked on a bridge-building activity, testing the strength of their structures by driving a robot into them.
💧 We also had a refreshing water balloon fight, adding some fun and excitement to the week!

Day 4 of TAAHM Summer STEAM Camp 🔋💻

Our campers had an electrifying day filled with hands-on learning and creativity! Today, they made their very own popsicle flashlights, diving into the concepts of electricity, electric currents, circuits, series circuits, and polarity. 🔦⚡

They also explored the world of coding through cup stack coding activities, mastering algorithms, debugging, functions, and parameters. 🧩💡

These incredible activities were made possible through our partnership with SSoutheastern Louisiana University NNorthshore STEM and the Brain Food Truck! 🙌🤖

In addition to these exciting projects, students continued assembling their rockets, which they will test tomorrow alongside their drones. 🚀🛸

Our campers had an amazing experience at the NASA Stennis Space Center in Mississippi! They delved into the wonders of space flight and uncovered some secrets of the universe. 🌌✨
