Silent Maid

Silent Maid Silent Maid was designed by Francis Sweisguth and built by Morton Johnson of Bay Head, NJ in 1924. A replica was built by John Brady at ISM.

Silent Maid has become a presence on Barnegat Bay with her distinctive huge sail and beautiful brightwork. The boat you see in most of these photos is a replica that was built by John Brady and team at Independence Seaport Museum in Philly. When you are out on the bay look for sail # T 82.
