The Blennerhassett Historical Foundation is honored, and thankful, to receive a wonderful gift from our Friend, and Board Member, Bill Reynolds.

Bill presented this gift to our Foundation Board in honor of his long standing friendship with our Island Historian, Dr. Ray Swick.

We are often asked about a collectible set of items pertaining to Blennerhassett Island!

"The Blennerhassett Collectors Series" glasses were produced by McHappy's and Napoli's in 1983 and were used a fundraiser for the development of Blennerhassett Island as what we know today. We thank these companies for stepping up and we are excited to know these drinking glasses are in many homes across the area.

Due to predicted severe weather and flooding, we highly encourages guests planning to attend Blennerhassett Island Historical State Park Wednesday, August 11 - Sunday, August 16, to call the Blennerhassett Museum before visiting to ensure availability: 304-420-4800.

If you plan on traveling to the Island Park this week, particularly Wednesday the 12th through Sunday the 16th, please call the Museum before hand, at 304-420-4800.

We anticipate River levels rising with the forcasted rain and may not be able to safely operate our Sternwheeler, the Island Belle.
