The W. H. Smith Hardware Company building is on the National Register of Historic Places. It is home to a vast collection of artifacts that tell the story of our region's industrial past which led to the creation of the Great State of West Virgnia.

Visit to learn more about where the oil and gas industry got started, its impact on transportation, a general store from a boom town and much much more.

The building itself is a treasure.

Let me tell you about this beautiful quilt. Long time shopper/friend of Neighbor Network Cindy Colvin recently had cataracts removed. To celebrate her new eyesight, she created this gorgeous patriotic quilt to donate to Neighbor Network to raise money for the many programs we offer to Pleasants county residents. 🇺🇸
This “USA 250” quilt can be seen in our front window and raffle tickets can be purchased at Phillips Pharmacy, Pleasants Co Bank, Galaxy Food Center in St. Mary’s, and the Elks club, or from any Elks member.
🦅Raffle tickets are $5 each or 3 for $10 and the drawing will be held September 4th.
