Thank you to Parkersburg Art Center, Truist, Jessie, and Abbie!!!

We love a BIG check photo-op, but what we love even more is the real financial support behind it.

A huge thank you to Truist West Virginia Foundation for supporting the Parkersburg Art Center with funding to replace an aging kiln in our pottery studio.

This investment helps keep one of the PAC’s busiest creative spaces thriving. Hundreds of people annually participated in public pottery classes, with even more taking part through our annual arts conference, Free Community Arts Day, and Senior Arts Day.

The studio is also home to a large active membership, including artists and makers using the space to grow small businesses like The Beard and Bun Pottery, Stone Petals Pottery, Ridge Walker Crafts, and ClaybyJudy.

Whether it’s introducing someone to clay for the first time, supporting local creative entrepreneurs, or serving as a highlight for school and community tours, the pottery studio is where creativity takes shape every day.

Thank you for helping us keep the wheels turning and the kilns firing.

ArtOrama is almost here! Market your calendar for Saturday, March 14 from 10-1!

Join us for this FREE, hands-on community arts day filled with make-and-take projects, live demonstrations, and creative fun for all ages. It’s a great day to see the whole building buzzing with activity and to share the joy of making art with families from across the Mid-Ohio Valley.

We’re excited to be joined by so many wonderful community partners, including Discovery World on Market, ArtBeat Studio, Mid-Ohio Valley Ballet, Ohio River Islands National Wildlife Refuge, Artsbridge, Boys & Girls Clubs of Parkersburg, Freedom Carvers, Downtown PKB, the Children’s Home Society of West Virginia and, of course, our own PAC Pottery Studio members.

Sunday Pottery on the Wheel Intro

Students can join instructor, Melody Wnuk to learn the basics of wheel throwing, decorative techniques, and glaze application in this 6 week Sunday afternoon class for beginners. Demos and hands-on instruction will be offered throughout the course.

Session 1: Sundays, September 7 - October 12, 2:00-5:00 p.m.
Session 2: Sundays, October 19 - November 23, 2:00-5:00 p.m.
Cost: $255 (PAC Members receive 20% discount).
