“Over the past several months, I have been immersed in watercolor, exploring a medium that feels perfectly suited to life on the move. After spending years, engaging with the structure and geometry of modern architecture, watercolor has offered me a different kind of freedom – fluid, spontaneous, and wonderfully unpredictable. I have painted rooftops and street scenes in New York, a canal in Amsterdam and moments in London, Palm Springs, and Paris.”
-BURGESS
15 framed mini watercolors will be on exhibit in the Artbox gallery at the Artspace, along with Burgess’s signature architectural find art prints, original abstract, acrylics, and his hand cut, painted paper collages.
