We’re very sad. Ryan and I are lonely in our happy home today. We said goodbye to Jake yesterday. He’s at peace now, no longer troubled by the terrors of nighttime that kept us all awake over the last year.

I knew that many of you who loved him so much would want to know. I won’t be responding to condolences for a few days. Please trust that we’re making our way through this time. All of us were so lucky to be blessed by this sweet furry bundle of joy for over 16 years.
