I’d missed the retirement of the New Mexico History Museum Director, and the fact that the State has delayed hiring a replacement until the next Governor takes office in January 2027?

The new Art Museum Director began her term at the end of March. Wishing her the best and hoping the programming of the newish Vladem Museum of Contemporary Art (part of the New Mexico Museum of Art finds a new level of engagement.

The new executive director of the New Mexico Art Museum comes with experience from NMSU and from East Coast institutions.
