: Soc's Drug at 76th and Main was the location where many discussions were had. Starting on the left is Ralph Board, Sunny Sherrill with his back to the camera, Arkie Epperson with the dark glasses, and Claude Shadrick in the plaid shirt.

The drug store was first owned by Tom Shahan, then DM Sokolosky. It later became Owasso Drug with owner Melvin Condor and then owner Roger Thompson. It is now Medicap, owned by Kathy Cambell.

: Davis Theatre opened March 1956 and was in operation for less than a year. The building, located at 112 W. 1st Ave., was later used by the Sherrill Real Estate Company. In the late 1960s, the building was home to the law offices of Harold Charney & William VanDall. It was later used as Owasso Beauty College.

We've got an extra special Timmy & Cindy Tuesday today! Welcome our newest Timmy to Owasso's Public Works building!

The Timmy & Cindy Project is a public art initiative that utilizes bronze castings of an active young boy and girl. Started in 2004, there are now 45 statues placed all over Owasso. This statue features an active young boy, who is hard at work pushing a wheelbarrow.

We are excited to welcome the newest Timmy, who was generously donated by Vines Properties Inc.
