This weekend in downtown! Make plans to attend our lecture, "America-In the Beginning" this Sunday at 2 pm. Lectures are $10 for non-members and $9 for members. Your support ensures we can continue to provide high-quality, educational programming.

WEEKEND AT A GLANCE
Soak up the last weekend in August in downtown Ottawa! From weekend sales at your favorite stores to live music to lectures and art shows, there's something for everyone! Be sure to stop by Grateful Clay on Saturday afternoon to see the group show "Attached." We've had a front-row seat to see some of the pieces come together, and they are spectacular!

If you didn't get your fill of history last week during Debate Days, don't fret! The Ottawa Historical and Scouting Heritage Museum has a lecture on Sunday afternoon about America in the beginning. Take in a tour of the museum while you're there and learn about the history of Scouting in America and Ottawa's vibrant past!

Also, we heard there's a lunar eclipse AND you might be able to see the Northern Lights tonight! What a treat!

What are you looking forward to this weekend? Let us know in the comments!

Ottawa’s story is being preserved every day.

In this episode of The Ferracuti Files, Alexis sits down with Mollie Perrot from the Ottawa Historical and Scouting Heritage Museum to talk about the importance of local history, the impact of the museum on our community, and how we can all play a role in keeping these stories alive.

From hidden artifacts to the bigger picture of why history still matters—this conversation is a reminder that understanding where we’ve been shapes where we’re going.
