Sneak Peek! Here’s just one of the paintings from Donne Bitner that will be available at our annual 8x10 Art Show & Fundraiser on August 8, 2026.

Donne’s award-winning work is always a crowd pleaser, so be sure to come check out her paintings with their layered energy and organic use of colors. It’s a great chance to start or add to your collection at special 8x10 prices!

In addition to Donne’s work, all our member artist are donating at least four original 8” × 10” artworks (or comparable 3-D pieces) — we anticipate you’ll have over 150 works to choose from.

Every piece starts at just $100. You can join the excitement by bidding in $25 increments, or skip the competition and choose the Buy Now option to make sure your favorite piece goes home with you.

Our friends from Flamingo Framing will be on site with a wide selection of 8” × 10” frames for purchase — and they’ll frame your artwork for free, so you can leave with a ready-to-hang masterpiece.

This year’s sale is part of our year-long celebration of 40 Years of Creativity. Since 1986, when George and Marty Whipple founded McRae Art Studios, our artist collective has been a place where professional artists create, grow, and enrich the Central Florida community.

We’ll even have a few anniversary surprises in store.

The countdown is on! McRae Art Studios’ annual 8x10 Art Sale is less than a month away.

Our 22 member artists are hard at work creating small works for one of our favorite nights of the year. Each artist is donating at least four original 8” × 10” artworks (or comparable 3-D pieces), so you’ll have more than 150 works to choose from—including colorful pieces from our newest member, Victor Bokas.

Every piece starts at just $100. Join the excitement by bidding in $25 increments, or skip the competition and choose the Buy Now option to make sure your favorite piece goes home with you.

We are excited to announce our annual 8x10 Sale on August 8, 2026.

This fast-paced, crowd-favorite event offers a chance to collect original artwork from our 22 Member Artists at accessible prices while supporting McRae’s creative mission.

Each artist donates a minimum of four 8” x 10” paintings or comparable 3-D artworks. All pieces start at $100. You may bid in $25 increments up to a maximum of $200, or choose the Buy Now option and purchase a piece immediately for $200.

Doors open at 6pm. Enjoy a complimentary glass of Prosecco or visit our donation bar while browsing the artwork. Bidding begins at 7pm and ends promptly at 7:45pm.

While we are sad that is no longer an active member of McRae (he now gets to make best use of his amazing home studios) — but we are also thrilled that is our newest Member Artist.

By no means is he new to McRae. He’s been a Member Artist in each of our previous locations. Now we are delighted to welcome him to our Arlington Arts Building home.

We are excited that the work of McRae Member Artist, Martha Jo Mahoney, is part of an exciting Our Orlando exhibit at the Mennello Museum of American Art. Tasanee Durrell & Mado Smith are also featured.

The show runs through August 16th. So make sure you stop in to the Mennello to see it sometime this summer.
