Meet the 2026 Orlando Mural Festival Exterior Wall Muralists

We’re excited to announce the artists who will be transforming walls throughout Downtown Orlando during this year’s festival. Come see these artists bring their work to life in real time!

The festival kicks off during Third Thursday on Thursday, September 17 from 6–9 PM at CityArts with a special exhibition in the upstairs Signature Gallery featuring studio work from muralists who have participated in the Orlando Mural Festival over the past two years.

Then join us Saturday, September 19 from 2–10 PM for the free Orlando Mural Festival Art Party at CityArts, the Fordify the Arts Courtyard and Thornton Park Market on Central Boulevard.

Expect live mural painting, art vendors, a sticker exhibition, food vendors, live music, DJ Krazy Dazie, DJ Mac, DJ Hulian, and Dizzlephunk Live featuring CreativAngel, Saxy Billy and Cone Figgins with an album release performance from 8–10 PM.

“Times appear to be dark.. This present moment's unsubtle squeeze holds most back and down. In our shared shuffle to stay afloat, many of the same artists who gained names and notariety by way of their artistic voice, have handed over more and more of their creative bandwidth in the service of clients, committees and corporations.
And as the constant struggle to hold pace and push forward leaves us less-than and exhausted, the hearts below our skin + bones beat even more loudly... but how long can this last?”

“My name is ETCH, and the work you will see here is about the process of transforming raw, destructive, and opposing ideas about the outside world into a meditation through art.

As a graffiti writer my artistic language is the medium I use to communicate with the world. Through it, I express the views, glory, and plight of my community and myself. Graffiti is an act of vandalism - an exercise that connects my inner world to the reality of what is happening out on the streets.

Rebellious by nature, this process of purging breeds a hatred toward the establishment. But hatred is insidious and usually turns inward, creating self hatred and ultimately destruction.

This body of work (2023-2026) represents an awakening - allowing negative energy to transform naturally and flow through focused awareness and acceptance into wisdom, compassion, and peaceful protest.”

Art of Orlando Main Streets is presented by the Downtown Arts District, CityArts Orlando, and Orlando Main Streets, featuring artists who have participated in projects throughout Orlando's Main Street districts: Audubon Park Garden District, College Park Main Street, Ivanhoe Village Main Street, Mills 50 District, The Milk District, S**o District, Thornton Park District, City District, Parramore Main Street, Curry Ford West, Gateway Orlando District, and West Lakes Market Street District.

Call for Art Vendors

A Program of the Downtown Arts District & CityArts

Presented by the Downtown Development Board

The Downtown Arts District is seeking talented artists, makers, and creative vendors to participate in the 2026 Orlando Mural Festival, presented by the Downtown Development Board.

Held in the heart of Downtown Orlando, the Orlando Mural Festival transforms the city into a vibrant celebration of public art, creativity, and community. Throughout the day, thousands of visitors explore newly completed murals, enjoy live entertainment, and engage with local artists.

This is an opportunity for artists to showcase and sell original artwork, connect with a large public audience, and be part of one of Downtown Orlando's signature arts events.

Application Due: 11:59 p.m. on September 6, 2026

Application Fee: Free

Vendor Fee: $50 (due only upon acceptance)

Selected vendors will receive a designated outdoor booth space within the festival.

CALL FOR LIVE MURALISTS

A Program of the Downtown Arts District & CityArts. Presented by the Downtown Development Board

The Downtown Arts District is seeking artists to participate as Live Muralists during the 2026 Orlando Mural Festival, presented by the Downtown Development Board.

Selected artists will create original artwork live during the festival on prepared mural panels, giving visitors the opportunity to watch the creative process in real time. This opportunity celebrates the energy of live art while engaging thousands of festival attendees throughout the day.

Applications will be considered for both temporary and permanent panel opportunities. Artists may not apply for only one category. Following the review process, selected artists will be assigned to the opportunity that best aligns with their work and the festival's curatorial vision.

Vaughn Belak is an independent artist currently based in Orlando Fl. His work ranges from dark, pop surrealism to incredibly rich, textured abstracts. Vaughn has been a professional artist for over 2 decades and is always pushing himself to grow and improve by diving headfirst into uncomfortable new waters. These abstracts come from a deeply personal and intentional collection that has helped him navigate some major life changes and literally pulled Vaughn out of his old life and into a new one.
