We think memes might actually be a more honest way to show you what happens at Zines After School. These may not be our most polished “marketing” shots, but then again, we’re not really that kind of program.

What makes Zines After School work is the stuff that’s harder to capture in a photo: thoughtful lesson plans, lots of making, and (most importantly) the human relationships that develop along the way. Kids get to decide what they’re ready for, what they’re curious about, and what pace works for them. And they’re supported by teachers who genuinely enjoy being with them, paying attention, and figuring things out together.

It’s a place to make things, be weird, follow your curiosity, and grow alongside other people.

In these last days of summer, we’re feeling SO done with screens. Let’s get our hands on some real materials and make, make, make! ✂️📚

Clean up on aisle Zine Camp!

Papermaking is sooooo fun. Clean up is not. Thank you to our amazing art educators for making this creative summer activity, and then whip it back into shape afterwards. Aren’t art teachers THE BEST?? 🎨🌈🫶

At Zine Camp, we believe every child learns differently. We invite campers to explore, experiment, and participate in ways that feel meaningful to them, without pressure or expectations.

Through creative bookmaking and zine projects, we create a welcoming space where young people can express themselves, follow their curiosity, and grow at their own pace.

Summer Break Zine Camp is back and bigger than ever! This year, we're offering three weeks of creative adventures. 𝗦𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝘂𝗽 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗻𝗲, 𝘁𝘄𝗼, 𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸𝘀, 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗱𝗱 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸𝘀.

Each week offers a fresh, hands-on exploration of printmaking, storytelling, and creative expression. Campers will create zines, storybooks, posters, plays, buttons, shirts, and more.
