MV Carbon’s sound addresses psychological feedback through poetry, music, and mechanics. It is vitalized by the immediate environment: rhythmic backgrounds, extended vessels, and struck handmade tools; electric cello processed through meticulous chains of effects; and synths melting time.

MV Carbon

Bruno Coviello is a producer and composer whose “razor sharp, sensually charged production skills” (Fader) have been featured on releases by Light Asylum (DFA Records), the cult classic film Party Monster, and the recent documentary My Brother’s Killer.

Dawoud Kringle

Dawoud Kringle is a musician whose work has been described as sounding like “Hans Zimmer and Jimi Hendrix fighting over a beautiful princess.”

As a composer, improviser, and multi-instrumentalist - with a focus on the Dautar, a hybrid guitar/sitar/cello he commissioned from the Limulus Musical Instrument Company - he has released over 16 independent albums, performed in the US and Europe, and created music for film, theater, and dance companies. He is also an author, artist, producer, poet, and stand-up comedian.

Inspired by the vast musical traditions from around the world - east and west, acoustic and electronic, modern and ancient - these varied genres provide a creative and sacred inspiration for Dawoud. Through his artistic vision and unprecedented use of the Indian sitar, he is illuminating a new musical path.

On Sunday, July 26th, Dawoud will present a rare performance of improvised ambient electronic music.

VISHWANATH_GI

“Music exploration that relates to Architecture in its structure and spatial construction, Painting with sounds colors and Poetry with its message of consonance and dissonance.”

Italian-born Gianni Intili has been involved with the fine arts throughout his life. Starting as a painter, color theorist, sculptor and poet, he would infuse his art into architecture, planning and interior design. As a teen, Hendrix guitar riffs and distortions were music to GI; the sound of the Moog as played by Keith Emerson, ecstasy. Jazz Rock Fusion, Prog Rock and Electronic Music, was the music he enjoyed and transmitted in his radio show at FDU 44
