“Winner Circle” is a recent mixed-media work on wood by Al Diaz, where he combines his traditional subway-lettering graffiti writing with vibrant colors and recognisable cartoon characters such as Alfred E. Newman from MAD Magazine and Bozo the Clown that serve as metaphors for the foolish political figures that are at the helm of our country.
