“Floating Cloud” — a monumental sculpture by Jacques Jarrige, 20 ft long x 5.5 ft wide, in hand-hammered aluminum, suspended from 9 points of clear wire.
A gestural line reaching to embrace volume and void, with a slow, unscripted movement that gives the piece both vulnerability and presence. The hammered surface carries the visible trace of the artist’s labor: a meditative dialogue between hand and metal.
The sculpture disassembles into sections, allowing for easy transport and installation.
