Վերջին օրերն են այցելելու "Նուրբ բան" ցուցահանդեսը Հայաստանի ազգային պատկերասրահում։

Հայաստանի ազգային պատկերասրահի և Atamian Hovsepian Curatorial Practice-ի (AHCP) համագործակցությամբ ներկայացվող ցուցահանդեսը միավորում է Կարեն Օհանյանի վերջին շրջանի լայնածավալ աշխատանքները՝ անդրադառնալով առնականության, բռնության, խոցելիության, հիշողության և գեղանկարչության փխրուն նյութականության թեմաներին։

Աշխատանքները համատեղ պատվիրվել են Sharjah Art Foundation-ի և AHCP-ի կողմից և հաջորդիվ կներկայացվեն Շարժայի 17-րդ բիենալեում՝ 2027 թվականին։

Ցուցահանդեսը բաց է մինչև շաբաթ՝ 2026 թ. սեպտեմբերի 5-ը։

The final days to see Delicate Matter at the National Gallery of Armenia.

Presented by the National Gallery of Armenia in collaboration with Atamian Hovsepian Curatorial Practice (AHCP), the exhibition brings together Karen Ohanyan’s recent large-scale works exploring masculinity, violence, vulnerability, memory, and the fragile materiality of painting.

The works are co-commissioned by Sharjah Art Foundation and AHCP and will next be presented at Sharjah Biennial 17 in 2027.

"Delicate Matter"  unfolds through the multiple meanings of the word matter. It refers to the delicate matters we often avoid naming—questions of power, masculinity, violence, and vulnerability—and to matter as substance, the material from which bodies, paintings, memories, and systems of power are formed. The work proposes that what seems solid or enduring often rests upon profound delicacy. Rather than presenting vulnerability as the opposite of strength, these works suggest that fragility may be the very condition from which resilience and human connection take shape. 🇬🇧⬇️🎨 Հայաստանի ազգային պատկերասրահում շարունակվում է Կարեն Օհանյանի «Նուրբ բան» ցուցահանդեսը

«Հեռապատումներ» ժամանակակից արվեստի ծրագրի շրջանակում ներկայացված այս նախագիծը ծավալվում է «բան» բառի բազմակի իմաստների շուրջ․ այն շոշափում է իշխանության, առնականության, բռնության ու խոցելիության նուրբ թեմաները, ինչպես նաև այն նյութեղենը, որից կազմված են մեր մարմինները, հիշողություններն ու պատկերները։

Ցուցադրված աշխատանքները հիշեցնում են, որ այն, ինչ թվում է ամուր ու տևական, հաճախ հիմնված է խորքային նրբության վրա, իսկ փխրունությունը կարող է դառնալ իսկական ուժի ու մարդկային կապի աղբյուր։

🇬🇧⬇️ 🎨 Օգոստոսի 7-ին Հայաստանի ազգային պատկերասրահում՝ «Հեռապատումներ» ժամանակակից արվեստի ծրագրի շրջանակում, կայացավ նկարիչ Կարեն Օհանյանի «Նուրբ բան» ցուցահանդեսի հանդիսավոր բացումը (համադրող՝ Թամար Հովսեփյան)։ Նախագիծն իրականացվել է Ադամյան Հովսեփյան կուրատորական պրակտիկայի հետ համագործակցությամբ։

«Նուրբ բան» նախագիծը ծավալվում է «բան» բառի բազմակի իմաստների շուրջ․ այն վերաբերում է թե՛ այն նուրբ թեմաներին, որոնց մասին հաճախ խուսափում ենք խոսել՝ իշխանությանը, առնականությանը, բռնությանն ու խոցելիությանը, և թե՛ այն նյութեղենին, որից կազմված են մարմինները, նկարները, հիշողություններն ու իշխանության կառուցվածքները։

Աշխատանքները ստեղծվել են Շարժայի արվեստի հիմնադրամի և Ադամյան Հովսեփյան կուրատորական պրակտիկայի աջակցությամբ։ Հայաստանում ցուցադրվելուց հետո դրանք կներկայացվեն Շարժայի (Արաբական Միացյալ Էմիրություններ) 17-րդ բիենալեում (What Remains, sits restive, 2027 թ․ հունվարի 21 – հունիսի 17)։

🇬🇧🎨 On August 7, the National Gallery of Armenia hosted the opening of Karen Ohanyan’s solo exhibition "Delicate Matter", curated by Tamar Hovsepian. Organized within the framework of the gallery’s "Prospectations" contemporary art programme, the project was presented in collaboration with Atamian Hovsepian Curatorial Practice (AHCP).

"Delicate Matter" unfolds through the multiple meanings of the word "matter". It refers to delicate matters often left unspoken – questions of power, masculinity, violence, and vulnerability – and to matter as substance, the physical material from which bodies, paintings, memories, and systems of power are formed.

Co-commissioned by Sharjah Art Foundation and Atamian Hovsepian Curatorial Practice, following its presentation in Armenia, the works will be exhibited at Sharjah Biennial 17: What Remains, sits restive (January 21 – June 17, 2027).

The National Gallery of Armenia, in collaboration with Atamian Hovsepian Curatorial Practice (AHCP), presents Delicate Matter, an exhibition of recent works by Karen Ohanyan, curated by Tamar Hovsepian. The exhibition is organized within the framework of Prospectations, the National Gallery of Armenia's programme highlighting contemporary Armenian art. The works are co-commissioned by Sharjah Art Foundation and Atamian Hovsepian Curatorial Practice. Following their presentation in Armenia, the works will be exhibited as part of Sharjah Biennial 17: What Remains, sits restive, on view in Sharjah, UAE, from 21 January to 17 June 2027.
