For over 75 years, Adventure Science Center has brought science to life for students, teachers and families in Middle Tennessee, Southern Kentucky, Northern Alabama and beyond. The science center is a non-profit that offers hands-on, interactive exhibits and engaging programs that encourage visitors of all ages to explore how science is relevant in their lives. Adventure Science Center encourages imagination and curiosity in a fun, dynamic learning environment.

Happy National Fossil Day!

Last summer, our team traded the Nashville skyline for the Montana wilderness, joining paleontologists at a real fossil dig site! They camped under the big sky, got their hands dirty digging for fossils, and learned how to carefully preserve discoveries right there in the field.

But the best part? They brought all that knowledge and hands-on experience back to Nashville to help shape our exhibits and programming.

Next time you explore Fossil Frontiers, remember: there’s a whole lot of real-world science behind every discovery. 👀

Meet Ruchika! 👋

For three years, she’s been part of our CR3W, bringing a love of math, coding, and STEM with her. She’s headed toward pre-med, with an interest in biomedical engineering, and she's already making big waves.

This summer, she was one of just 100 students worldwide selected for the prestigious Research Science Institute (RSI) at MIT! It's a huge accomplishment, and we're so proud to play a part in her STEM journey.

This year is the 10th Annual Tennessee STEAM Festival, and we are stoked to be an event host once again!

Join us Saturday, October 10 from 10am–4pm to create your own straw rocket, hoop glider, or catapult. Plus, our CR3W kids will be showcasing projects they’ve been working on. Free with admission.
