Meet the shell‑ebrity turtles of Discovery World!

Come say shell‑o to a few of our fan favorites:
🐢 Beep & Boop | Box Turtles: Our beloved spokes‑turtles!
Boop is shy and curls up in her shell and Beep is outgoing, always camera‑ready
and since Ornate Box Turtles are endangered in Wisconsin, Beep is extra special!

😊 Linnaeus | Blanding’s Turtle
Always smiling! Linnaeus loves interacting with caretakers and prefers a solo lifestyle. Fun fact: Blanding’s Turtles can live over 80 years and as an endangered species, Linnaeus is a powerful ambassador for Wisconsin wildlife.

💦 Salt & Peppa | Wood Turtles
These two playful climbers are always on the move. They love splashing in water bowls, scaling logs, and showing off their big turtle energy. Once endangered, wood turtles are making a comeback, and this duo helps share their conservation story.

🪨 Tortilla | Spiny Softshell Turtle
Master of disguise! Tortilla loves hiding under rocks with just his snout poking out. He’s sassy, stinky, and an expert swimmer.

💃 Wolverine | Red‑Eared Slider
Named for his long front claws, Wolverine is an energetic swimmer who often looks like he’s dancing around his tank. He loves squeezing into tight spots so much, we had to put up a sign assuring guests he isn’t stuck!
