Clear a night next week, because this is the one everybody is going to be arguing about. ⛳🌾🪨

📅 Sep 5 to Sep 10*

Seventeen year old Isabel has left the rural north behind for a job at one of Manila's most exclusive country clubs, lining up golf balls for powerful men amid stifling heat and a drought that's drying up everything else in the country. Between shifts, she drifts through the club's manicured grounds, sampling luxuries she'll never own, watching industrialists and expatriates and pampered wives move through their private paradise. But when Isabel tries to return a misplaced golf club to the club's patriarchal director, Dr. Palanca, she finds herself drawn into something far darker than a simple errand.

Winner of the Special Jury Award for Creative Vision at Sundance 2026, first time writer director Rafael Manuel, executive produced by Jia Zhangke, expands his Silver Bear winning short into a hypnotic, surreal class satire that turns a golf course into a microcosm of colonialism, privilege, and rot beneath the surface.

Opens Saturday, September 5.

If you have ever found yourself rooting for a bird you never met, this one is for you.

In February 2023, a Eurasian eagle-owl named Flaco slipped out of a damaged enclosure at the Central Park Zoo and simply kept going. He'd never lived outside captivity, but within days he was hunting rats in Central Park, and within weeks he was a citywide phenomenon: bird-watchers tracking his every roost, strangers debating on the internet whether he should be recaptured or left alone.

Penny Lane's documentary uses one runaway owl to get at much bigger things: what captivity does to an animal, what freedom actually costs, and why this particular bird got under so many people's skin.

Five showtimes left before he flies.

Tomorrow night, Miami. One screening, one room, and the filmmaker sitting right there with you.

What if the incoherent, conspiracy-filled rants of the infamous Florida Man were true all along?

After a short-lived stint in jail, ALEX, a lowly wannabe thug, investigates his brother's sudden disappearance and uncovers mysterious ties to the nearby senior citizen trailer park and its dark, supernatural underbelly…

This Miami-based film screening will be followed by a post-film Q&A with Jorge Rodriguez. Bring your questions, bring a friend, and come see what our own backyard looks like on the big screen.

"Their most accomplished, most persuasive, and most playful movie yet." (Variety)

This is Jane Schoenbrun operating at full, unfiltered strength. Hannah Einbinder plays a young director handed the job of rebooting a fading '80s slasher franchise. Gillian Anderson plays the reclusive original "final girl" who still lives at the abandoned campground where the first film was shot. What starts as research turns into an obsessive, increasingly physical entanglement that pulls both women into the franchise's blood-soaked mythology, and into a reckoning with desire neither one saw coming.

It won the Q***r Palm at Cannes. It's funny, it's gory, it's sincere. And it hits so much harder in a dark room with a crowd that gasps together.

In Memoriam: Tim Curry (1946–2026)
Today we say goodbye to the incomparable Tim Curry, a singular performer whose extraordinary career spanned stage, film, television, music, and voice acting.

For us, he will forever be the deliciously subversive Dr. Frank-N-Furter in The Rocky Horror Picture Show, a performance that became a cultural phenomenon and gave generations of audiences permission to be louder, stranger, freer, and unapologetically themselves.

But Curry’s remarkable legacy reached far beyond Rocky Horror: from Hunt for Red October, Clue, Annie and Legend to his unforgettable Pennywise in Stephen King’s It, as well as acclaimed performances on Broadway in Amadeus, My Favorite Year and Spamalot. Over his career, he earned three Tony Award nominations, two Olivier nominations, and a Daytime Emmy. (people.com)

Few performers could be so wickedly funny, genuinely frightening, theatrical, elegant, and completely unforgettable.

Thank you, Tim, for a lifetime of unforgettable characters, and for teaching us all to give ourselves over to absolute pleasure.

Rest in power, Tim Curry.

It's astounding, we're back, and this year the dead are doing the Time Warp with us.

O Cinema's annual THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW returns to the Miami Beach Bandshell on Sunday, November 1, and this year it comes with a Dia de los Mu***os twist. Fishnets meet sugar skulls. Glitter meets marigolds. We built a whole page just for this one, so follow along for costumes, callbacks, cast reveals and chaos between now and showtime.

Death has never looked so fabulous.

If you love a slasher that's actually about something, you'll love what's on our screen right now.

Jane Schoenbrun's follow-up to I Saw the TV Glow opened Un Certain Regard at this year's Cannes and walked away with the Q***r Palm, and it's easy to see why. Emmy-winner Hannah Einbinder plays Kris, a Sundance-anointed young director handed the job of rebooting a fading '80s slasher franchise, Camp Miasma, for a more enlightened era. To crack the reboot, she seeks out Billy Presley (Gillian Anderson), the reclusive original "final girl," who still lives at the abandoned campground where the first film was shot. What starts as research turns into something much stranger.

Equal parts loving homage to Friday the 13th-era slasher cinema and deeply personal meditation on s*x, gender, and the media that shapes us. Funny, gory, sincere, and unmistakably theirs.

"An instant midnight-movie classic." (Deadline)

“A visceral, experiential type of viewing” - THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER

Today’s the day. Doors open at 11 AM, brunch is served, and we are all going to the Bolivian Altiplano for a couple of hours.

A girl who swallowed a goldfish whole. A heaven she is certain is as real as the ground beneath her. A priest, a troupe of cholita wrestlers, and a burnt-out cop who all get swept up in her wake. Alberto Sciamma’s CIELO is the masterpiece of a filmmaker who spent thirty years chasing eccentric premises without quite landing one, until now.

TODAY’S SCHEDULE:
11 AM: Doors + Brunch Served
11:45 AM: Guest Speaker
12 PM: Film Starts
1:45 PM: Post-Film Discussion + Message from Alberto Sciamma!

Screening in collaboration with Amigos Bolivianos & Comité Boliviano Miami. Come hungry, come curious, and grab a seat before doors.
