Join us for Ghostly Hauntings where our historic homes come alive with chilling stories, eerie encounters, and a glimpse into McKinney’s haunted past. If you love local history, ghost stories, and a good scare, this is one October experience you won’t want to miss!

🕯️ Every Friday and Saturday in October
🎟️ $30 per ticket | Limited spots available
📍 Tours begin at the Schoolhouse on the northeast side of the property.

For more than 50 years, Chestnut Square has been rooted in the heart of McKinney, preserving the places, stories, and traditions that make our community so special. Our history is rich and our roots run deep, but none of it would be possible without you.

Time and again, our community has shown up for Chestnut Square. When severe storms damaged the Faires House and other areas of the Village, neighbors, volunteers, and supporters stepped forward to spread the word, donate, and help us begin the work of caring for these treasured historic spaces. That same spirit is felt each Saturday at the McKinney Farmers Market, which you have proudly helped earn the title of #1 Farmers Market in Texas for three years in a row. These are only two recent examples of the dedication our community has shown Chestnut Square over the years, and we are deeply grateful for every act of support, big or small.

This North Texas Giving Day, we invite you to continue that legacy of care. Your support helps preserve our historic buildings, inspire learning for future generations, and keep Chestnut Square a welcoming place for our community to gather.
