The Marquette Maritime Museum's mission is to preserve and protect the maritime history of Marquette, Lake Superior and the Great Lakes and remember the exploits of our submarine veterans. We offer guided tours of the Marquette Harbor Lighthouse as well as self-guided tours of the Museum. Call ahead to reserve your spot at 906-226-2006. Maritime History on Tap is back! Join us on November 3, 7pm, at the Ore Dock Brewing Company to commemorate the 51st Anniversary of the Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald. The program features the “Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald” sung by Michael Waite, followed by the Evolution of the Storm with National Weather Service’s Rebecca Economides and Fred Stonehouse on the Loss of the Fitzgerald.

Tickets are $5 at the door. This program is sponsored in part by the Ore Dock Brewing Company and from grants by Upper Michigan Energies Resources - WE Foundation, the National Endowment for the Arts and Michigan Arts and Culture Council.

Our Ghosts of Lighthouse Point fundraiser was a huge success. Thanks to our local Texas Roadhouse and Domino’s for feeding our volunteers. Big big thanks to our amazing ghost volunteers for their creative ideas and costumes and for donating their time to our fundraiser. We are already planning next year 👻👻👻
