In response to the widespread local, state and national concern about children’s health Agape Children's Museum has begun a Healthy Lifestyle Initiative that aims to improve the health and wellness of children and their families through programs, exhibits, partnerships, outreaches, training, publications and community events.

A Special Celebration at the 10th Annual Family Health Festival.

We are thrilled to invite our community to the 10th Annual Family Health Festival on Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The festival will be held at the Ability First Education Center, 3770 E. Willow St., Long Beach, CA 90815.
Admission is completely FREE!
This year, we are hosting a very special presentation. Agape Children's Museum will formally honor local childhood cancer survivors. We will celebrate these amazing children and the ultimate symbol of their journey—the Gold Ribbon. Event Highlights: Survivor Recognition: A heartwarming ceremony honoring our community's young cancer survivors.
Health & Wellness: Free health screenings and tips from local health experts.
Family Fun: Live entertainment, giveaways, prizes, and interactive activities.
How You Can Get Involved:
Nominate a Survivor: If you know a child who is a cancer survivor and would like them recognized, please reach out to us directly at [email protected].
Wear Gold: We encourage all festival guests to wear gold clothing or gold ribbons to show their collective support.

This Summer, Agape Children’s Museum hosted its Annual Summer Mini-Camp with the Long Beach Parks and Recreation WRAP Programs and 4 Long Beach Public Libraries. This summer, children learned about the importance of protecting our environment and recycling, and remaking works of Art. Special thanks to Edison, Grant, Garfield, Herrera, King, Burbank, and Lafayette Elementary Schools as well as Dana, Bret Harte, Los Altos and Michelle Obama Libraries.
