One year ago, we installed a remarkable piece of ’s engineering system in Las Vegas: the Stoking Indicator Transmitter. Recovered from the debris field in 1994, this transmitter was later reunited with another component of the system that had been recovered in 1987—offering a rare opportunity to reconnect pieces of a once-integrated engineering network. Studying where artifacts like these were found across the debris field continues to provide critical clues in answering long-standing questions about how the Ship sank.
Moments like this don’t happen overnight. They’re the result of RMS Titanic Inc.'s stewardship mission of recovery, conservation, research, and making accessible to the public.
That includes the long-term mapping/documentation project begun by Paul-Henri Nargeolet (“PH”) and Ken Vrana—a project Ken continues to lead today as Director of CMURM, ensuring this work moves forward behind the scenes.
When you visit, you’re supporting preservation and taking an active part in the stewardship of TITANIC! 🚢✨
