Last week we wrapped up an awesome 10 weeks of Summer L.A.B.S.!

From creative challenges and hands-on experiments to engineering projects and plenty of fun, these scientists brought their curiosity, energy, and imagination every day. We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who made this summer so special. Thank you to Jackson and Lansing Regional SmartZone for their generous support of the program.

Join us for the 33rd Capital City River Run on September 19-20! 🙌

Sohn Kids Race: Starts at 11 a.m. and features a one-mile course along the Lansing River Trail. After the race, participants can enjoy a finisher medal, pizza party, goodie bag and a fun day at Impression 5!
Half Marathon and 5K: Starts at 8 a.m. on Michigan Ave. in front of the Lansing Center. All participants will receive a sweatshirt and finisher medal to celebrate their achievement after the race.

There’s still time to explore Destination Mars at Impression 5 before it takes off on September 6! 🧑‍🚀🚀

Step into the world of space exploration and discover what it takes to survive on the Red Planet. From finding resources and creating shelter to tackling unexpected challenges, this hands-on exhibit puts your problem-solving skills to the test.
