Thanks everyone. Your support means the world to me!
I’m still home with him. My brother, sister and I are working to get doctors appointments scheduled to figure out why he is falling (this was the 5th and worst one ad of yet)

I’ve been passing along all of your messages to him and he is beyond touched for your care.

He had no memory of what happened. I was explaining to him why he can’t open his eye at all and what happened

Thank you everyone for your support yesterday,it means the world to me!

It appears the next stage of “adulting” snuck up on me over the last couple of years. Many of you know that my mom is in the last stage of Alzheimer’s disease and it has been especially difficult on my dad.
Unfortunately, my dad has had several hard falls the last few months, to the point my siblings and I have him wearing an apple watch.
Tuesday, he was visiting my mom when he fell. The facility called me as they found him with gashes and a goose egg with lots of blood. They called an ambulance to transport him to the ER

This left me needing to close and get to the hospital

I’m not sure if you can ever be fully ready to become the “parent “ to your parents

All this being said, Absolute Gallery will be closed again Wednesday

Imagine the shock as this was how I found my dad
