I think every artist has to look at their pieces like they are a piece of them, or like they are their babies! This painting was the first real painting that I did with intention for the Girls Day series. I had an idea in my head for the composition, and I woke up every single morning so excited to get to work! Some days, I’d put in 12-14 hours and it felt like I’d only been in the studio for 2-3 hours, because I would get so lost in the creative moment and excitement of seeing the piece come to life.
I am thrilled this piece found a home and that there are people out there who love the paintings just like I do!!! 🥳🍾
