September means the beginging of the homeschool year! Kevin and Ben continue over the summer, but today was officially the first day of Level 4 and 3, respectively. Kevin finished his gorgeous Crocodile Dundee Bowie Knife (see previous post), and Ben kept working on his LOTR dagger. It was fun to see them working together and helping each other too!

"That's not a knife. This is (definitely) a knife!" Kevin did a spectacular job with his Crocodile Dundee Bowie Knife! He's a homeschool student, but has been working on this all summer. Today he added the handle--a wood, brass, and leather stacked handle with brass guard and pommel. It's absolutely gorgeous! Very proud of him!

Students will make a variety of projects, and lead up to knifemaking. Depending on the group, additional projects and leather sheaths may be added.
