We are so happy with the work that Combat Ready Art and Medullary Studios did to recreate the tympan and frisket of our 19th century Wesel iron hand press! We are also grateful to the Park Trades Center staff for hanging the magnet from the ceiling to keep the frisket open. Next step for us is to cover the frames with stretched paper and mylar.

Register for Collage Designs, a two-day, in-person workshop with Susan Burton this October!

Susan is a retired educator and mixed-media collage artist (with an affinity for lettering arts, which often pops up in her work!) This class will incorporate images and more, exploring design with a variety of media and techniques for creating luscious layers of textures and color palettes. ✨

The collages can then be combined into a simple concertina or pamphlet-style book with a tin or decorative box to hold them.
