Entering my Mad Scientist Era, going to be printing up replacement body parts for myself with my awesome 3d printer. Look for these to be incorporated into my work "soon."
"Soon" is in quotation marks because you know me . . . between pain, health issues, work(paid), and my interest in too many things, it may take a little while! Lol.

WARNING SIGNS OF FASCISM
* Blaming a group of people for the destruction of the country, like immigrants and democrats.
* Extreme National pride and labeling anyone who is critical of the country as traitors and anti-American.
* Leaders call on the country's citizens to help return the country to it's glory days. "Make America Great Again."
*Obsession with Militarism and Law and Order. Sending the National Guard into cities under the guise of cracking down on crime and illegal immigration.
*Dismantling the Free Press. "Fake News." Pressure on broadcasters to fire those that are critical of the leader.
*Country over individual identity and diversity. Dismantling and removing DEI initiatives.
*Hatred of the "intellectual elite." Stopping funding to colleges that won't spread leader's agenda, demonizing educators as pushing gender non-conformity and LGBTQ ideologies, dismantling the Department of Education.
*Misogyny and control over women's bodies. Overturning Roe vs. Wade and basically everything Trump has ever said about women.

The Closing Celebration for the 2026 Westminster Art Festival and exhibit "Whose Backyard?" will be this Friday, 5-7 pm. Program begins at 5:15 and will include music, presentation of the 2026 Peoples' Choice Prize, and announcement of the 2027 theme. And there will be ice cream sundaes! We hope you can join us!

I am very grateful for receiving an Honorable Mention Award at The Westminster Art Festival. There were many outstanding pieces of art in the competition.

The 2026 Westminster Art Festival Awards night is this Friday, May 15, 5-7 pm. Art juror Maya James and poetry juror Alison Swan will be with us to present the awards. Poetry books will be available and of course there'll be time to view the art exhibit. It'll be a fun evening!

Happy Earth Day! This painting, "The socioeconomic hierarchy of Pollution," will be at the Westminster Art Festival opening Saturday 4pm-7pm. I would love to be there, but I'll have just had surgery 2 days before so it will depend on how I feel. Regardless if I attend, you should! There's good art, good people, good music and good snacks!

Dear Frida,
I'm catching up to you! Next week I'll have my 5th lung surgery making a total of 20 surgeries for me. Not that it's a competition, but I'm getting closer to your number of 30-35, better watch out! 😉
