It is with mixed emotions that we announce the retirement of our esteemed Executive Director, Kate Hoffman, at the end of December.

Over nearly 23 years, Kate has played a pivotal role in shaping the Huntington Beach Art Center into the vibrant and thriving institution it is today. Her dedication, leadership, and passion for the arts have left an indelible mark on our organization and the community at large. Under Kate’s guidance, the Art Center has achieved significant milestones, from groundbreaking exhibitions to innovative programs that have enriched the cultural landscape of our city.

As we bid farewell to Kate, we express our deepest gratitude for her unwavering commitment and the countless contributions to the Art Center. We recognize the challenges and triumphs she has navigated with grace, and we are immensely thankful for the legacy Kate leaves behind.

We invite you to join us in celebrating Kate's accomplishments during her tenure at the Art Center. Please stop by in the coming weeks see the "Inspired" exhibition and to wish her well. Notecards and pens are available on request from the front desk if you would like to contribute a message to our gift basket.

While Kate's departure marks the end of an era, we are excited about the opportunities that lie ahead. We remain committed to our mission of fostering creativity, supporting artists, and engaging the community through the arts.

With your continued support, we look forward to building on the foundation laid by Kate and the Huntington Beach Art Center Foundation, propelling the Art Center to new heights.

Thank you for being an integral part of the Huntington Beach Art Center community. Your support has been and continues to be vital to our success.
