The Amistad Center engages, enlightens and entertains our Greater Hartford community and beyond. We take seriously our role and responsibility to build public understanding of the art and cultural expressions of people of African descent, and to ensure that our magnificent collection is cared for and made available to the public for generations to come.

This is a night where culture, creativity, and individuality are celebrated.
Attire is Formal to Semi-Formal with room for personal expression and cultural inspiration.
No gowns or tuxedos are required - but they are absolutely welcome if you wish.
