What a beautiful day to install this sculpture of our president, Carrie Wissler-Thomas crafted by the talented Mark Dennis into our abundant and lush garden🪴

This meaningful piece honors Carrie and celebrates the incredible contributions she has made to the Art Association of Harrisburg! We are so pleased that this sculpture will serve as a lasting tribute to her leadership, while welcoming visitors to the gallery each day🌞

The reception will take place during our 38th Annual Gallery Walk, making it the perfect opportunity to explore the gallery, view artists painting en plein air, and experience an incredible collection of artwork created by our talented members.

Can't wait to celebrate our 38th Annual Gallery Walk featuring 14 different venues from 12pm-5pm. We will also have artists painting en plein air at some of these locations as well, so you can reserve your spot by calling 717-236-1432!

What a fun event we had yesterday with our 5 featured poets: Georgia Masters Earp aka Lucy Sage, Judith Kennedy, Dorothy Brown, Eileen Graham, and Alane Balchunas. We had quite a few attendees and sold a few copies of “I Am From the 20th Century” by Lucy Sage!
