Robbins Hunter Museum The Robbins Hunter Museum and Gardens seeks to perpetuate its facility and collections and to educate and unite the community. The only monument in the U.S.

OPEN Wednesday, Friday, Saturday 1-4pm - Message us for a scheduled tour on Thursdays The museum is meticulously restored and furnished with 19th century decorative arts. The collection includes exceptional examples of early chandeliers and clocks, especially pieces from Ohio. to Victoria Woodhull is located on the west wall of the museum. Woodhull, born in Homer, Ohio, was the first woman to own a newspaper, own a stock brokerage, to address Congress, and to run for President of the United States in 1872. The museum hosts Victorian tea parties, lectures, special exhibits, and community events.

Our volunteers are hard at work on something special! 🇺🇸 Here’s a peek at their work on the Civil War portion of our patriotic holiday display.

Join us on Veterans Day, November 11, for our next America 250 event, Saluting Our Veterans: A First Look at Our Military Trees. This is the kickoff to this year's holiday tour.

The event is free and open to everyone, and we especially hope veterans will join us as we honor their service. You can find more information on our Facebook event page and website.

It's October at the Robbins Hunter Museum... and Halloween fun is on the way!

The scarecrows return to our front lawn soon, and for the first time in years, we’ll be handing out candy for Trick-or-Treat!

Until then, stop in for a little history! Tours are free to the public Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, 1-4 pm.

Do you know a Licking County woman who gives back to others and is working to make a difference in the community? Nominate her for the 2026 Victoria Woodhull Woman of Achievement Award!

Victoria Woodhull was born in Homer, Ohio - in Licking County - and was the first woman to run for U.S. president, speak before a Congressional committee, and push for women's right to vote.

Our museum honors her with a permanent exhibit on her life and legacy, and this award honors a local woman who carries forward her spirit of determination and service.
